Prof. Foo Keng Yuen

Biography:
Prof. Dr. Foo Keng Yuen is the UNESCO Co-Chair on Ecohydraulics for Sustainable Water Infrastructures for SDG 6 in the Asia and the Pacific Region. His research interests are environmental engineering, waste utilization, water treatment technology, catalysis, food security and toxicology, and environmental health. He has involved in different kinds of university, national and international research grants, amounting to approximately RM 10 million. His aptitude for high quality research of international standing has been supported by the consultancy projects of exceeding RM 3 million, more than 100 international publications, with a total citation of exceeding 17,000, and an author h-index of 50. In term of Intellectual Properties, he holds 3 patents, 1 trade-secret and 1 trademark. Foo’s scholastic achievements and thought leadership are recognised locally and internationally. He is honoured to be the Top 2% Scientists in their Respective Fields and Top 2% Highly Cited Scientists in the world by the Stanford University, California consequentially for 5 years. Foo has been nominated to be the honoree of the Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians (ToYM) 2022, Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) 2019, National Young Scientist Award 2017, International Young Inventor Award, Marquis Who's Who in the World, Top 100 Engineers, and Honorary Doctorate of Letters by International Biographical Centre Cambridge, England, and special award or medal winners in International Inventions, Competitions and Exhibitions. He serves as the Editor, Editorial Board Members, Scientific Adviser, Technical Committee, Review Committee, Keynote and Invited Speakers in international scientific journals, conferences, and research seminars. Foo has been nominated as the Chief Consultant for several UNESCO’s international workshops, connecting with more than 30 industrial partners, currently has been appointed as the technical consultant for TG Ocean Health Food Industries Limited Company and research and development (R&D) consultant for Gold Choice Food Industries Limited Company.
Prof. Guangming Li

Biography:
Pro.Guangming Li, professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University. Engaged in water pollution control and recycling, wastes management and recovery technologies such as urban solid waste, electronic waste, kitchen and organic waste, waste tires and plastics, and hazardous wastes, as well as urban ecological environment and low-carbon sustainable development technology and innovation planning research.He presided over and participated in more than ten major science and technology research projects under the National "Tenth Five Year Plan" 863, the Ministry of Science and Technology Support Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and local governments. Since 2004, I have been involved in the formulation of medium and long-term scientific and technological development plans in Shanghai, serving as the leader of the Ecological Shanghai Special Group, participating in the formulation of Shanghai's "11th Five Year Plan", "12th Five Year Plan", "13th Five Year Plan", and "14th Five Year Plan" scientific and technological development plans, and serving as the leader of the Ecological Shanghai or People's Livelihood Special Group; Participate in the special planning, implementation management, promotion, and application of the World Expo Science and Technology Action Plan. We have conducted exchanges and cooperation with the German University of Technology Berlin, the University of East Anglia in the UK, Japan Construction Engineering Corporation, the Italian Federation for Waste Plastic Recycling, and Thailand Green Rubber.Served as the Deputy Director of the Department of Chemistry (1996-1999), Executive Deputy Director of the Training Center of Higher Technical College (2000-2001), and Deputy Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering (2003-2010), responsible for teaching, research, training, and graduate management work. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Tongji University (2010 present), responsible for industry university research cooperation and the service and management of scientific and technological achievements. Published over 200 research papers in mainstream academic journals both domestically and internationally in this field of expertise; Editor in chief/co editor of 10 academic monographs and textbooks; Apply for more than 10 authorized patents.
Prof. Yasin Orooji
Zhejiang Normal University, China
Biography:
Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) Highly Cited Researcher and top 1% author in Chemistry and Engineering, Yasin Orooji comes from a family of scholars. As the R&D Manager, he worked for Yasin Pajooh Co. from 2012 to 2015; meanwhile, he was awarded the Best Inventor title in 2014 by the Ministry of Science. Later, he was invited to join Professor Wanqin Jin's Research Group in 2015. In 2018, he joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Nanjing Forestry University as an associate professor and was promoted to full Professor in 2020. Currently, he is serving as a Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang Normal University and has been listed among the Stanford-Elsevier top 2% scientists since 2021. Since 2017, he has published 170 SCI papers(39 ESI top papers, including 2 hot papers) and 10 patents, one of which is the best national patent award. He has about 1120 hours of teaching experience and more than 4200 hours of tutoring student research projects. Since 2012, he has had industrial experiences with DHP Engineering, A.O. Smith and Alfa Laval. He cumulatively participated in more than 33 million yuan of research and industrial projects, making him a unique researcher to expand top research work to industrial products. His goal is to bridge the gap between universities and industries following the concept of Honeywell, Tesla Inc. and Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Prof. Baoyou Liu

Biography:
Baoyou Liu, male, born in February 1973, holds a doctoral degree and is a professor. He is also a master's supervisor in Environmental Science and Engineering at Hebei University of Science and Technology. In terms of environmental monitoring and environmental remediation, he has mainly carried out research on the remediation and treatment technology of SO2, NOx, CO2, NH3 and VOC in the atmosphere, the remediation technology of heavy metals such as copper, cadmium, lead and zinc in the soil, and the monitoring technology of typical environmental pollutants. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 20 research papers in critical reviews in environmental science and technology, separation and purification technology, ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SCIENCE, Journal of Safety and Environment and other domestic and foreign journals, including 7 SCI search papers, including 2 SCI Chinese Academy of Sciences Zone 1 papers, and 6 Chinese invention patents have been authorized.
Assoc. Prof. Jia Wen
Hunan University, China
Biography:
Dr. Jia Wen obtained her Ph.D. in soil science at the University of Adelaide. She served as Environmental Consultant in Arris Pty. Ltd., Australia from 2010-2013. She is now an associate professor and Yuelu scholor in Hunan University. She serves as editorial board member in SCI journals “Sustainability (IF 3.9)” and “Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management (IF 3.1)”. Her main research interests are the environmental toxicology of heavy metals, soil pollution remediation, solid waste pollution control and resource recovery. Dr. Jia Wen, as the first/sole corresponding author, has published 40+ SCI papers in reputed journals, including 4 highly cited papers and over 10 papers having IF >10. She was awarded Wiley “IEAM exceptional reviewer 2023” and authorized 6 national patents.
Assoc. Prof. Rongkui Su

Biography:
He has long been engaged in research in the fields of wastewater treatment and resource utilization, environmental management and ecological restoration. In the past three years, he has presided over or participated in more than 10 national and provincial research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Top Project, Hunan Provincial "Unveiling the List of Commanders" Project, etc. He has published more than 70 papers in important academic journals/conferences at home and abroad, and 16 papers in SCI by the first or corresponding author, 2 in Nature Index, 5 in ESI, 1 in hot spot, 1 in Zone I of CAS, and 1 in Zone II of CAS. He has published more than 70 papers in important academic journals/conferences at home and abroad, with 16 SCI papers as first author or corresponding author, 2 Nature Index papers, 5 ESI highly cited papers, 1 hot paper, 7 papers in the first area of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 monograph, 8 patents, 12 soft writings, and his research results have been reported by Chemical Reviews (the top journal in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering, 2022 IF 72.087), and he has been awarded with the honor of being "the most outstanding scientist in the field of chemical engineering".
